About this project

Florida Homes in 2050 is an editorial visualization project exploring how homes across Florida could evolve over the next few decades in response to storms, heat, flooding and new technology.

Each of the 15 images in the series is an AI-generated visualization created to illustrate one plausible direction for future home design. They are speculative concepts meant to spark curiosity and conversation — not architectural forecasts, engineering specifications, or predictions about any specific property.

We use words like "could," "may," and "might" deliberately throughout the series, because none of this is guaranteed. Building science, climate patterns, and consumer technology are all likely to develop differently than shown here.
